FAQ
Do I need an appointment?
We’re dedicated to giving you a personalized experience to help you find your dream wedding gown. To ensure you receive our full attention, we require appointments. If you’re looking for a date beyond that, feel free to give us a text or email—we’d be happy to assist!
What should I bring with me?
We recommend wearing nude underwear for your appointment. Keep in mind that your bridal consultant will be assisting you in and out of gowns, so consider this when deciding on undergarments. To help keep our dresses pristine, we also suggest keeping makeup light. If you have a cherished veil from your mom, sister, or aunt, or special jewelry you plan to wear on your big day, feel free to bring them along!
Who should I bring with me?
We strongly suggest you bring no more than two guests in addition to the bride – for a total of three. Choose those who know your style best and will help make this special moment even more memorable!
What is the price range of your gowns?
Our bridal gowns range from $900 – 4000. The majority of our gowns are between $1500 – 2500. We recommend a budget of at least $2000 to have a good number of options to try on.
What is the process to buy a gown at Claremont Bridal?
When you find the gown that makes your heart sing, we’ll take your measurements and order the size closest to them. Depending on the designer, your dress will arrive in approximately 4-6months. Once it’s here, you’ll be invited back for a follow-up appointment to pick up your gown and explore veils and accessories to complete your look!
How far in advance do I need to buy my gown?
Most of our designers require 4-5 months to create your made-to-order gown. With alterations included, we recommend allowing 8-10 months before your big day. In a hurry? No worries –our designers offer quicker shipping and rush order options. We also have a beautiful selection of sample gowns available for purchase off the rack at a discount, so you can take your gown home with you the same day as your appointment!
Will I need alterations?
Yep! While your gown is made to order, it is based on a standard size chart. Most gowns will need at least minimal alterations to make it fit you perfectly. We do not provide in-house alterations, but we are happy to recommend an excellent seamstress in the Bay area.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges on purchases?
Everything in store are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Therefore, we take the time to ensure you are satisfied with your gown and accessories before you leave the boutique with them – we want happy brides!
